How Candle-Making Became Our Healing

In the midst of the challenges that came with COVID, one of our co-founders, Jayme, faced redundancy and soon struggled with workplace bullying, which led to a diagnosis of depression. During this difficult time, we discovered a simple but powerful form of healing, candle-making. What began as a therapeutic hobby quickly turned into a passion and a way for us to create something that could bring comfort to others. This is how J&K Lab was born.

While we started purely with hand-poured soy candles, our passion for scent and atmosphere naturally grew. Today, J&K Lab is more than just a business.
